Peonies

I was all set to blog about garbage this morning -- and I do mean trash -- but since I'm playing catch-up after being under the weather all week I don't have the time. Instead, I'll leave you with something much more pleasant, how my peonies looked before the rain washed away every single bloom. Hey, is that the sun I see out there??? Finally...

  1. OMG! Look at the beautiful yellow in the center of those peonies..by the way, I'm sure you pronounce peonies like Pee-0-KNEES like I do. They pronounce it P-00000000 nes here. lol

  2. Those must have been a wonderful greeting each day--before the rain pounded them.

We are glad to see the sun today as well.

  4. Slam, they were, but strangely enough the burgundy ones behind them didn't bloom as well this year. In fact, I only had one flower on it!

Amy, spring/summer colds are the worst, aren't they? You don't know if it's allergies or what! The cough has thrown me (and my poor husband who has taken to sleeping downstairs in the basement so he could get some rest) for a loop...
