Earth Day Yard Blooms
For Earth Day, some yard blooms...

Early Spring
This is what early last week looked like here in Roanoke, Virginia...
Gray, gloomy & dreary...
Then I blinked and up shot the daffodil...
I turned around and the redbuds began to blossom...
I went to the backyard and noticed the dogwoods have started their glory...
It's raining today, but it won't be much longer before I can lie in the hammock in my secret garden...

Earth Laughs in Flowers
Starting to think "April showers" have nothing to do with rain. With all the crappy events that seem to be associated with April over the last couple of years, I'm thinking the showers are more like tears than raindrops. Still, no matter what tragedies befall us, we are strong. It's important to remember to stop and smell the flowers because...
