Our 9 year old has already been hinting about going fishing. It is just tough for us--we need something that all 3 little ones can do so he has to wait to hook the big one.
I would not eat anything that came out of the Roanoke River, though. My grandmother, who lived along its banks for most her life, always cautioned us to never eat what came out of its waters.

ReplyDeleteI heard it's safe to eat the trout for two days after they stock it otherwise catch and release it.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I couldn't talk my husband into going fishing today..."I have an engine to put together." He's so responsible!
