Judging from the cherry blossom snow carpet this will probably be the last weekend any flowers will remain. Ciao cherry trees, see you next spring...

Ciao Cherry Trees
Thanks to one of the worst winters we ever experienced in Roanoke, our cherry trees were spectacular.

Yes, our plants really benefited from all the snow on the ground for so long. Everything looks so beautiful in Roanoke right now. I hope the wild poppies come out all over town like last year. They were seen along the overpass at Elm Avenue and 581.
ReplyDeleteYour trees must have been heavenly to look at. The close up pictures are yummy looking!
They really were awesome this year. I was disappointe that my apple tree blossoms did not last very long.. a day or two it seemed and 'poof' they were gone.

The Blue Ridge Gal
Those look lovely!
ReplyDeleteMy dogwoods and azaelas are also beautiful but my lilacs weren't so great this year...very frail and light with hardly any fragrance. Both my backyard and front yard bush was the same. I wonder why...Has anyone noticed anything off with theirs?
