Oceanfront Balcony

No, I haven't disappeared permanently, just been taking in the views from my oceanfront balcony on Ocean Isle Beach...

Front...

If you stay at the beach, any beach, oceanfront balconies are the only way to go...

  1. Agree, agree, agree! I went to Playa Del Carmen in Feb. and had the most exotic ocean front beach room ever..thatched huts right below the window and the ocean so close you could taste it!!!!!!! Ah, the sound of the waves lull you to sleep. So glad you are having a fun time Elena!

  2. Awww, Ocean Isle. My aunt and uncle have a house there. I've been going to that beach since I was nine months old. It's wonderful, isn't it? Eat some seafood for me, o.k?

  3. Cheryl there is nothing better than the sound and smell of the ocean to soothe one's soul.

Amy, I am crabbed out girl! OIB is one of our favorites, Navarre in the panhandle being the other, which so very sadly is now horribly destroyed, or will be very shortly.

We're already home, sniff sniff, and I can't believe how hot it feels without the surf swishing around my ankles and the ocean breeze messing up my hair...

  5. Di, it's in North Carolina, about a half hour north of Myrtle Beach...very quiet and not commercial. I'll post pics over the next couple of days ;)

  6. We always stay ocean front and wouldn't dream of going to the beach any other way. Watching the sunsets from the balcony makes the vacation for us.
